5Rhythms Reach Out is a non profit organisation , whose mission is to get every BODY moving in the direction of their most creative self.
I have been taking 5 Rhythms into diverse and marginalised communities for over 17 years beginning in young offenders prisons, teenagers, vulnerable children on the at risk register, and addiction programs. My work in prison began before I took on the training of a 5 Rhythms teacher, I was studying youth and community work at university at postgraduate level, I chose my placement and dissertation in HMP Feltham where I was offered a full time job via Education teaching the arts to inmates.
I had been dancing the 5 Rhythms as a student of it for 10 years, immersing myself in its teachings and embodying its discipline, deepening my own healing journey.
5RRO was created by Gabrielle Roth to support teachers like me, whose mission is to spread this powerful healing art , taking it into marginalised communities/institutions that would not have the usual access to this work via the workshops and classes.
