Regular Classes

Maintaining a regular practice forms an important part of the wellbeing of my students.

"Thank you Emma, such an uplifting class today and lovely to have new dancers with us"

"These classes are such a gift, thank you!"

We hold group sessions at a beautiful and unique space here in the heart of St. Leonards-on-sea. By joining these classes, you will be joining a community of people who share and take up space with one another regularly welcoming new participants into the space.

No two sessions are the same because no two people are the same, we are ever evolving, ever faces new challenges and experiencing or working through our own emotions. It is this collective trust and respect of each other that makes for a unique and healing weekly practice.

A regular session will see you tuning into your body, warming up in a way that your body requires. Responding to the music, and the impulses and needs of your own self, I will facilitate and gently guide you through, helping you tune in and make connections with yourself and the other energies in the room.

Weekly classes ‘Movement as a Metaphor’ take place on Tuesday mornings including time for reflection at the end of the session. Bring water, wear something you can move in, and bring your willingness to explore.

In addition, once a month I lead a larger evening group session; ‘Funky Fridays’ which takes place in St. Leonards-on-sea from 7pm - 9.30pm.  Much like the weekly classes, make sure you bring plenty of water and clothes you feel comfortable moving in.

Capacity for these popular classes are limited and therefore booking in advance is encouraged to guarantee your space.
