Masks
of the
Feminine

Dates : April 12

Time: 11.00 - 18.00

Location : Matico Dance Studio Royston Road Penge

Producer:  To book and more information : Sarah Jane

This one-day 5Rhythms Movement Lab is open to every body - all genders are most welcome. Together we will explore, untame and celebrate the feminine energy Flowing through our Bodies, Hearts and Breath.

“Masks of The Feminine” is a metaphor for blockages to the expression of our deep, intuitive, creative feminine parts. Here we’ll take time to step out of our habitual roles, away from dogmas that bind us, and overcome our stuckness, our inertia. The Lab will reveal where we ignore, misuse, control or deny our body’s vital feminine energy – and dance will unleash it!

There are many facets of the feminine that apply to all genders. We will be working with the universal Mother, Lover and Spirit.

Mother: exploring our mothering nature, the part of our soul that cares for us and others, nurtures and earths us here and now, in our fleshy animal Body

Lover: playing with the seductive, flirtatious soul part, tracking emotional landscapes, connecting us to ourselves and others, in our dear open Heart

Spirit: honouring the mysterious, most sacred, enigmatic soul aspect, the part that is most inspired whilst listening to the silence, in our every sweet Breath

Come join us for a day that will release feminine Flowing energy right to your very edges – free and fluid, alive and awake.

Prerequisites: Minimum of either five taught 5Rhythms Waves classes, or extensive experience of another embodiment practice.

"Emma, That was just superb and felt like experiencing a deeper level of 5R.

Felt so connected with you and sharing such delicate magic - it really felt like being in the same room, the energy was just phenomenal.

Love love loved it."

"A joy to participate in this improvisation led by Emma Leech.

Starting to create from silence, from the impact of the body in space in relation to others with the world. A tool, a research I can't live without as an actress and as a human being.

Thank you Emma for the deep teachings."
